Opera is looking for excellent software developers to continue our innovation and market lead in mobile browsing. If you are motivated by challenging problems and are enthusiastic about browser technology we would like to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Participate and contribute in all parts of the software development life cycle.
  • Take initiative and ensure timely delivery.
  • Innovate, design and deliver new features and versions of the Opera browser.

Requirements

  • Strong C++ skills and firm understanding of object oriented programming.
  • Drive and commitment to work in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge or personal interest in the mobile or electronics industries.
  • Good working knowledge of English.

Ideals (one or more)

  • Experience with embedded Linux programming, WinCE or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of web standards.
  • Experience with Product Line Architecture.
  • Experience with optimization of embedded platforms for speed, footprint and/or memory.
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
