Opera is looking for excellent software developers for our Opera Mini team. We use C++, C, Java and Pike in our systems.

Responsibilities

• Optimize for speed, memory usage, code footprint
• Innovate, design and deliver new features and versions
• Participate and contribute in all parts of the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in one or several of: C++, C, Java, Python and Pike
• Good knowledge of Web standards
• Enthusiasm and motivation for working with complex problems and browser technology
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent working experience in a related field
• Experience with optimization on embedded platforms for speed, footprint and/or memory
