Core Technology Tester

Location: Oslo, Norway, no / Linköping, Sweden, se /

Tasks will include writing test suites, executing tests and analyzing compatibility problems on the Web. Testers work closely with developers, project managers, and sometimes customers.

Responsibilities

• Reporting bugs.
• Writing and executing test plans.
• Regression testing.
• Tracking feature status and development.
• Testing new browser technologies.
• Communicating with developers.
• Writing test suites.

Requirements

Successful candidates have knowledge and experience in several of the following areas:

• Awareness of Internet security issues.
• Experience with more than one operating system.
• Knowledge of network protocols.
• Good knowledge of application behavior.
• Experience with quality assurance, test procedures and software testing.
• Skilled in Web standards like (X)HTML, ECMAScript, XML, CSS, SVG, DOM,XSLT, HTTP.
• BS or MS in computer science or equivalent.

Candidates must also be structured, be able to work independently, and have good communication skills.
