Opera

University tours

Opera believes the Web is a force for good. As an industry leader in providing innovative and standards-compliant Web browsing, Opera Software seeks to work with the next generation of leaders and thinkers whose ideas will decide the future of the Web. That’s why we are delivering seminars and talks about the Web in university tours across the globe.

Opera Software’s university tours explore:

  • the history and future of the Web
  • the browser industry
  • open Web standards
  • Web applications
  • the role of the Web and mobile browsing, particularly in developing countries

Opera can also deliver specific tutorials and tailor the content of each seminar to address topics most relevant to each university and the learning of its students.

Students can gain new perspectives on technology trends, direct questions to Opera Software developers and product managers in panel discussions, and network with people leading the IT industry.

University tour forums Discuss the seminar topics

"Our university trains vocational instructors who will lead fields such as mechanics, electronics and telecommunications. The students eagerly paid attention to the seminar from Opera Software, as the company possesses top-level techniques for Web technologies such as CSS and bringing Web browsers to new devices on multiple platforms. It was a great opportunity for the students to listen directly to those people who are at the forefront of technology today."

"The presentation was super. We were very pleased with the speakers, and it was fantastic to have representatives from Opera Software so close to us. It really opened opportunities for dialogue and was a very positive experience!"
